When you add the Faithlife News Widget to any widget area on your site, up-to-the-minute content will be displayed automatically. Customize your news channel preferences. Display up to 10 article links in three different formats. You can also optionally enable Reftagger which will tag all Bible verse references on your site.

How often does new content appear?

Every fifteen minutes when new content is available it will appear in the widget.

Can I customize the news that shows up on my site?

In the widget menu of the WordPress admin you can select the news channels you would like to feature on your site. As more new channels are added to Faithlife News they will automatically become available to the widget.

What is Reftagger?

Reftagger automatically tags Bible verse references on your site and creates a tooltip that appears when a reader hovers over it.

• Faithlife News Widget Released

1. Upload the plugin .zip file to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory and unpack it
2. Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress
3. Navigate the the Widgets Menu
4. Locate the Faithlife News Widget and drag it to the widget pane where you want to display news content
5. Configure the Faithlife News Widget settings and hit 'Save'
